Konjac Sponge: Japanese Konjac Sponge. This 100% natural sponge has a soft texture, a natural facial and beard cleansing sponge made out of vegetable fibers of Konjac plant. Soak the sponge in water for 15 minutes for the first time so that the sponge softens up. Every week or two put the sponge in a bowl of water and microwave for a few minutes to clean the insides and remove any bacteria. Alternatively, you may pour hot water, add a drop of tea tree oil, and let it stand for 10 minutes.
